Performer and collaborator, documentary theater piece by Laura Uribe and Sabina Aldana, 2024

Cuir Love is a transdisciplinary performance work inspired by documentary theater that seeks to imagine new ways of representing ourselves, while questioning binary representation systems. It makes visible personal and collective experiences, acts of resilience and (re)existence in an inter- and transgenerational intersection of gender dissidence.
It was presented from May 9 to June 9, 2024 at the El Galeón Theater, Abraham Oceransky of the Centro Cultural del Bosque.
“How many times have you seen a play that focuses on trans stories? Never have I. I think that is the most important thing about Cuir Love. Trans people build spaces to live comfortably, but society still doesn’t know about our stories. Cuir Love is an educational proposal to share a little of the beautiful and complex trans life stories.”
